Michael Spinks beating fellow great Holmes was impressive. I thought he would be stopped in one round. The great accomplishments in my mind are greats beating other greats..

Probably Armstrong being world champ in three different weight classes at the same time.

A few others in the running, IMO:
    - Pacquiao being a dominant welterweight after winning his first title as a flyweight
    - Hopkins becoming LHW champ at 46
    - SRR's 87 fight win streak

The total itself or the opposition beat to attain that record? Either way, both have been surpassed, even by the same man.

Agree with this. I would add the following:

    - Marciano's unbeaten HW record of 49-0
    - Joe Louis' consecutive title defenses of 25
    - Joe Louis' uninterrupted title reign of 11 years, 7 months
    - Wilfred Benitez becoming the youngest man to ever win a world title at the age of 17 years and 3 months
    - Mike Tyson becoming the youngest HW champion
    - Leon Spinks winning the HW title in his 8th bout
    - Emille Griffith's most number of title fight rounds (339)
    - Willie Pep's most number of wins (229)
    - Kid Azteca and Roberto Duran fighting as a pro in 5 different decades
    - Bob Fitzsimmons becoming the first fighter to win three world titles at different weights: MW, LHW and HW

Being able to fight the best , make a lot of money , keep that money and retire unhurt.

This has to be the greatest personal acheivement of any boxer .

Manny Pacquiao going from 105-150 and still breaking their face. That's the greatest achievement in boxing history...just ask Mayweather Sr. The would be equivalent to Floyd moving up to the heavyweight and knocking them out...just ask Floyd Jr.

Floyd and Pacquiaos names don't belong in this thread. Foreman winning the title at 45 years old is probably the single greatest feat in boxing history. If you mentioned Pacquiaos name in this thread, you're a ****ing homer.

Len Wickwar, Harry Greb, and Young Stribling all have more.

You can add Saoul Mamby to that list.

    Kid Azteca -
a.) The Mexican fighter that created/invented the famous left hook to the liver in the 1940's and was later known as: The Godfather of the Left Hook to the Liver, because many Mexican fighters like Ruben Olivares, Carlos Zarate, Calos Palomino, Julio Cesar Chavez, Humberto Soto, etc, followed Kid Azteca's invention.
    b.) fought in 5 decades

    Julio Cesar Chavez-
a.) went 89-0 before being cheated by Steroid cheater-Randall

    Humberto Soto:
a.) Has become the Most Avoided Fighter in Boxing, and the most brutal bodypuncher in boxing today.

    Antonio Margarito:
a.) Margarito KO's Sergio Martinez and scared Martinez into ducking a rematch.
b.)Margarito has scared off Floyd Mayweather Jr. into not fighting him, and has thus, beaten Floyd by DEFAULT.

I'll go with Armstrong. That has stood the test of time, and unlike say accomplishments such as most successful defences & multiple weight titles, it's safe to say that one will never be matched.
