In your opinion, what boxer has the best set of wins in history? For example, Ali/Clay could be cited with Frazier, Liston, Norton and Foreman or Sugar Ray Leonard with Duran, Hagler, Hearns and Benitez.

Feel free to make a list of separate weight classes if you want.

Sugar Ray Leonard...he beat the #1 lightweight( Duran)....the # 1 junior middleweight ( Hearns ) ...arguably the # 1 middleweight( Hagler ) .. and you could make a case for Wilfred Benetiz being the best 140lber

    Charles deserves a shout
    Louis
    Moore
    Walcott
    Bivins
    Burley
    Marshall
    Maxim
    I think all are HOF
although Ali’s wins are stellar as well.

is why he is in more PFP top tens than he isn't despite a relatively short career.

Probably fighters like Harry Greb (I think most wins over HOFs), Sam Langford (most fights against HOFs), Ray Robinson and Ezzard Charles.

But I think Jimmy McLarnin and Fritzie Zivic had a bunch of impressive wins too.

    Jimmy McLarnin
    Barney Ross
    Benny Leonard
    Tony Canzoneri
    Young Corbett III
    Lou Ambers
    2x Billy Petrolle
    2x Sammy Mandell
    2x Fidel LaBarba
    Al Singer
    Pancho Villa
    Bud Taylor
    Jackie Fields
    Sid Terris
    Ruby Goldstein (the famous referee)

    Fritzie Zivic
    2x Henry Armstrong
    Jake LaMotta
    Charley Burley
    Eddie Booker
    Sammy Angott
    Lew Jenkins
    3x Kid Azteca

And Willie Meehan deserves a mention for a more or less fringe HW contender. He mostly fought only 4 rounds, but anyway his best wins look better on paper than those of some world champions.

    Willie Meehan
    2x Jack Dempsey
    Sam Langford
    Jack Dillon

Harry Greb is the only man who beat Gene Tunney, I find that win more impressive than any win in boxing history

Very good shout on McLarnin, rather feel Jimmy is not given the credit he deserves, we all go on about his peers, Ross, Canzoneri, even Pettrolle seems to garner more print, dont know why ? he was a very talented fighter who had a long and distingshed career, competeing at the very hightest for most of it, shame. stay safe buddy.
