When Bowe first came on the scene I envisioned a bigger, stronger, quicker version of Holmes....I know, I know...I was wrong! I know most of us don't rank him top 15-20 (although a few do), but what is the highes ranking of him that you could justifiably argue? Can an argument even be made for top 15???

    1. Where do you rank Bowe?

    2. What is the highest he could concievably be ranked?

    3. What if any ATG's would you favor him to beat????

Number 3....is that assuming he's at his peak? ala v Holyfield?

I would figure his peak in that range, although feel free to place his peak where you would. The bigger question might be is Holy still at or near his relative peak during that encounter as well.

    O.k.

Well based on accomplishments, because I never rank a fighter purely on skillset, I'd rank him maybe top 20. Big kudos for beating prime Holyfield & coming back from near disaster in the rubber. When he won the title I thought we'd be in for something special, but sadly it gets a bit patchy.

As for which ATG he could beat, assuming he's peak I'd say he'd have a shot against 1991 version of Tyson, I see him beating Lewis, Foreman. Pre 70's heavy's would just be too small.

Yep Lewis get way too much respect here imo. Great fighter for sure but overrated.

I'd rate Bowe about fifteenth in the all time great list.

Funny I used to be accused of being a Tyson basher??? Now I guess although you missed my agenda, you are placing it elsewhere??? Not sure that I denigrated any one boxer, or elevated another...If it is about the other thread...Oh well!
