    How about this... Liston destroyed the division, erased all the contenders.

    Bowe missed the bulk of them, picked weak-ass opposition and performed poorly in many top level fights.

    While we are at it, I am sick of hearing about how good Bowe's inside game was, especially against Holyfield. Did anyone tell him he was 6 foot 5 with an 82 inch reach and an elite jab, that he should have avoided going inside where got tagged like a piñata? I don't care how good he was at turning hooks and finding angles. 6 foot 5 guys with long reaches going against shorter, smaller, and more truncated foes should MAXIMIZE their advantages not play down to the opposition. Thus, we have his short stay at the top.
