LOL. How do you establish a new "lineage" when you avoid the second best fighter in the division?

    Exactly how does that work?

    See above.

Who's the Arab in your avatar? Is that Manny Charr? Good to see you getting behind the Manny Charr Chariot of success.

Do you deny the possibility that Manny Charr didn't time travel and rule Ancient Egypt with an iron fist, genius.

meh who cares about lineage? it's a mythical award that traces back to one man establishing himself above the other's. Wlad is a consensus number 1 today whether he's the "naysayer lineal champion" or not.

    There's NOTHING to explain. Period.

At NO time has Wlad beaten the second best HW in the division. That was true when he beat Byrd, true when he beat Chagev, and it's true NOW.

    Wlad = paper champion.

Sure, he's the #1 HW in the world and I have no problem recognizing him as such.

That said, the Legitimate HW Title is VACANT until the #1 and #2 HWs in the world fight to decide who is The Man...

He cannot break the top 10. Id say 13, maybe 12 if he gets a few more wins against seasoned competition. Beating guys like Price, Helenius, Mitchell etc. do nothing for his legacy at the moment. In a couple years that may change though.

Legitimate Naysayer Title or not, he's still the man atop the division.

I don't care whether it's the WBC/WBA/WBA/IBF/IBO/RING/Naysayer or any other title. The man makes the belt.

Much better to be number 1 than hold any individual claim.

So far, Wlad hasn't made a damn thing other than a ton of money fighting a long list of BUMs, STIFFs, TOMATO CANs, No Hopers and Ole Men.

number 1 since 2006. how many hw's in history can boast a 6 year consecutive spell at the top?

he's unified 4 belts an defeated a string of top 5 opposition.

he's turned from a running joke to the best hw in the world.

Those are all solid achievements whether you recognise them or not.

Against some VERY suspect opposition. What's so impressive about beating up on the Ray Austins of the world?

LOL. The alphabet organization's trinkets are MEANINGLESS. The fact that you would even bring them up only demonstrates the weakness inherent in your argument.

LOL. The best HW in the world is STILL a running joke seeing as he REFUSES to fight the second best HW in the world and needs his big brother to clean up after him.

Besides, what's so astounding about being the #1 HW in what is probably the weakest era in the division's history? Yeah, being the best of a horrible bunch is VERY impressive..

    Only in your mind...

hard to tell. the problem is that he and his brother reigned together the division. so it was never really clear whether wlad really was THE heavyweight champion. that harms his legacy a lot imo. if it wasn't for that i would rate him very high.
