If he didn't beat any past champs you'd probably be listing that as a weakness and strike against his resume, claiming he's ducking Toney or holyfield.

That's funny you seem to give all the credit for his victories to his opponents and none to him. Not one mention about him nullifying their attacks or his ring generalship. The fact that he utterly dominated almost every second of every rd. Something that for the majority of his opponents, has never happened to them before. Like it's a fluke. The one common component in all of this is Wladimir himself, and what he does to these guys once they enter the ring.

McCall beat better fighters than Sanders hand was never stopped by a second rate fighter..... Just sayin. On to of that, Lewis decisively avenged that loss.

Or he just dominates them too much for them to do anything.

Wlad never asked Sanders for a rematch. Can you provide a source and link for that? Sanders said in an interview he often wondered why Wlad never pursued a rematch. The reason he dropped the WBO title was so he could fight Vittles for the WBC title.

I'm saying it's better to face guys in the top 5 than in the top 10.

You can't judge history on boxrec mate. Like I said you need to actually brush up on your hw history, with specific reference to you comment about holmes and other heavyweights beating all the top contenders.

Look beyond the numbers pal. Maybe even watch a few fights?

Why would I apologise for him getting twatted? It was a good fight.

I'm saying his championship reign began in 06 and since then he's unified against fellow belt holders and that's what i'd call significant if not notorious.

Sorry I think I'd read it somewhere, my mistake.
I knew Sanders dropped the belt pretty quickly, the rematch was something I've heard on this forum...
I'll just reduce my previous post to 2 letters.

    Did it really?

Exactly WHO did the Baby Klit beat back in '06 to call himself a champion?

If you don't know the answer to that I think i'm probably best discussing boxing with more educated folk.

Jack was quite erroneous and presumptous but atleast I get the feeling he's a fan of the sport.

You still haven't answered the question.

Yes, you are best discussion boxing with educated folk. Maybe then you'll learn something about the sport.

Again I ask, exactly WHO did the Baby Klit beat back in '06 to call himself a champion?

Holmes never unified and dropped the one belt he did have at the time when he decided that cashing in against Marvis Frazier was a bigger priority than facing the much tougher Greg Page.

I don't knock Holmes from a personal standpoint because he made $3 million on an easier fight and I'd have done the same thing, but I can't believe the revisionist history going on where people paint the picture that Larry fought everyone.
