I'm just glad to see Wladimir fighting someone with a pulse. I'm a big Wladimir fan, but he hasn't fought anyone worth a **** since Haye.

It's a good fight. I haven't really seen any Klistchko haters saying it's a bad fight.

    +1.

You'd think he was facing Marvis Frazier the way this is getting downplayed.

Had ESB been around in Louis' time, we'd be hearing people rag on his glass chin (who cares about having the longest HW title reign in history?) and how none of the wins meant anything.

The internet guys would've shredded Joe for not fighting 230 dominant newspaper draws against Young McHoulihan and Old Slim Chocolate.

They didn't have a SHW division in the amateurs in the 60's. Forman and Frazier both won Gold medals in the "unlimited" weight catagory.

Most historically important fight since the 3rd decalogy series of Young McHoulihan vs Old Slim Chocolate. Fights 21-30 really were something special.

Two olympics superheavyweights medallist going at each other is pretty rare, i think; personally, i've never heard of it; also Povetkin is unbeaten and has an high potential, so this fight is really significative.

Huge historical significance given two former gold medalists and the fact that it is in Moscow. F#$king huge indeed.

If someone out there is unable to digest this, get help!

I can't like this post enough. Sometimes we forget that when the US media talks about boxing being a dying sport it's an example of focus bias. I'm also waiting to see what the fight in Macau is like.
