What I can't figure out is why is Clenelo rated ahead of Bivol? I guess head to head results don't really matter anymore?
He was at the Tank Martin fight supoorting Martin and arguing with Tank. Besides that he seems to be keeping a low profile.
It´s P4P, which usually is just depth of resume. Considering that Canelo isn´t actively campaigning at 175, Ring felt it was OK to rank him over Bivol. This has actually happened plenty of times with guys who do indeed compete in the same divisions. I think Ring had Loma in their P4P after Lopez beat him but Lopez wasn´t on the list. Yet at 135 they had Lopez above Loma.
How is Canelo ranked above Bivol???? Dmitry spanked him like a red headed step child that stole something from him. Even though Gingers judges made it look close 113-115, even those biased bunch couldn't stretch it to another "draw" for him. Canelo didn't even win a round lol
Not really. Canelo has done way more throughout his career. And the only meaningful win Bivol has had since is Gilberto. Canelo beat: Golovkin, Jermell, Munguia and Ryder. This is not be agreeing with Ring, but just seeing where they are coming from and how they made the decision, which I don´t think is that bad. And yes, there is plenty to criticize Canelo over, especially his post Bivol opposition.
Yea I guess the problem I have though is rating someone pound for pound above someone who thoroughly outboxed you. Its saying P4P he's better than Bivol.
He is at the bank laughing at all you mongoloids for paying for Crawford to beat on a dehydrated, brain damaged inactive shell of a man. Healthy, less drained Spence from the Brook fight gives Crawford a WAY tougher fight
Who has Canelo beaten since an over 40 GGG & he barely beat him. How long are you going to support his ducking Benavidez his mandatory?? Hes another Floyd a fraud
Spence said he only wants 2-3 more fights at the most, and he's enjoying not fighting. Fundora and he still wants Crawford at 154 and maybe one more. He won't be around much longer
