For you, what step should the winner take? This is what I think... Well, for Joe, after such a long time at 168, and proving himself as the best at 168 bar none, he should just take an assault at 175. Thereby working on his legacy as not just a great supermiddle, but also an ATG overall. For Kessler, I think he can still toll on 168 much longer, probably cash in first on a Pavlik match-up then contemplate to move at 175 afterwards. With this scenario I envision, I think 168 division is facing a lean time ahead should the top dogs really move up a weight class.
Calzaghe should stay 168 to fight Pavlik, if he cant get that fight then move upto 175 to fight Hopkins. Kessler should stay at 168 for a couple more years, cleaning out the top contenders such as Bute, Froch, Inkin and Mundine (rematch is inevitable) to become one of the best SMW's of all-time.
