What is the more ridiculous of the two- Those claiming Hagler vs Hearns or 500K+

    We've had people raving for months about GGG vs Lemieux being the next "Hagler vs Hearns" fight. How it will be explosive from round 1 with bombs being fired from all sides.

    But we got a jabbing contest with GGG landing right hands at will and Lemieux landing nothing of note in literally the entire fight. We got none of that "Hagler vs Hearns" **** that people kept raving about. Not even close!!! :tired

    Goodness me. Hagler vs Hearns. That's rich, ain't it? :nut:lol:

    On the other hand:

    We had people claiming that this fight would do 350k+ easily, 500k+ very likely. And now, we got news that it only did 130k.

    I've been telling everyone that this won't do well. People KNOW that these are mismatches. They know.

    There are only so many people who would fall for this kind of con-game. :yep

    Well considering GGG has been very hittable in the few fights he had before lemieux, I don't think it was crazy to think that it would be a war. It did prove however that golovkin was foregoing his defence to put on a bit more of a brawl for the fans in the fights leading up to lemieux, where he wasn't prepared to take that risk.

    Anyone expecting 500k+ buys in any fighters first ppv has a few marbles missing.

    I was starting to fear for MVC!'s life after Floyd retired and his secondary bread and butter Wilder is set to get knocked out by Povetkin. But thankfully he has found out he can start increasing his flaming of exciting fighters to compensate, praise Allah! :happy

    I was actually astonished how good his defense was in this fight, now I'm not one of those people who thinks GGG is a brawler, I know full well his defense is decent but he was nigh unhittable versus Lemieux (bar a few punches here and there).

    MVC, Golovkin is still way better than your favorite black fighters.

    Blacks are not dominating boxing anymore. Post-soviets and 3-rd world boxers are. Live with that.

    It's a bunch of hype that HBO put out that have racist in an uproar because they hate Black fighters so much that just to see a soviet bum beat up other bums is great as long as he is white and that he is winning. Everything else that's logical will be ignored by these idiots.

    That **** was a flop , Plain and Simple. Even these neo nazis on this board didn't buy that PPV.
