Hagler vs Duran …was so technical that it’s boring

Marquez-Barrera was such a nice skillful battle.

Beautiful fight with so much class and finesse yet also some fierce action, as you would expect from 2 Mexican warriors. It's still such a damn shame that we never got to see Juan Manuel Marquez and Erik Morales fight, that would have been another skillful yet brutal fight.

The first 2 fights of Gilberto Roman vs Santos Laciar is high class stuff.

    Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux

This one needs to be in the conversation, even if not all of the combined skills of these two stars was on display throughout the fight.

Nice. Astute and well integrated commentary team also, including Atlas and Bradley.

Tyson-douglas just comes to mind. The way Buster was peppering him with those combinations and the grit and heart he showed getting up for the challenge as well as the canvas.

Lol. Yes, unfortunately technical perfections don't always translate to sheer, surface entertainment. I guess when you can fully understand and appreciate the deeper technicalities of anything you observe, that can translate to entertainment in its own right.

I'm surprised the Olympic bout between Johansson vs Sanders hasn't been mentioned.

Give me a second to catch my breath.

While not throwing punches, very few people understand and appreciate that both men were processing millions of computations and permutations before they were willing to make their next (or first?) move.

Now THAT was a chess match for the ages between two Grand Masters. Enthralling.

The silly ref didn't even get it - nor did he pick up on the obvious fact that Ingo was about to launch his much-celebrated Blitzkrieg attack when the ref. prematurely knocked Ingo's King over and told to him to "Get outta here!

Good Ingemar Johansson. Such a ridiculously underrated and underappreciated fighter.

Thanks Bud. Love your avatar. Classic photo. Greb’s Missus wasn’t a bad looking sort I must say.

Ernesto Marcel v Alexis Arguello is one of the best I’ve seen.

Leonard vs Hearns 1- both had to make adjustments and both did.
Pryor vs Arguello 1- not only action packed but the skill of BOTH boxers was on full display.
