    Bassa - McAuley great fights both times out....I hadn't thought about it but Bassa/McAuley II must have been one of the last title fights over 15 rounds held in the UK

    Bassa/McAuleyI was the 15 rounder, had it been a 12 rounder like the rematch, Davey Boy would of been a World title holder at his first attempt...

    Aaarghh beat me to the punch

    Arthur Gomez, though one sided, was bloody awful

    Arthur got a ruthless shellacking

    As much as I was cheering Gomez on I was imploring Arthur to get his right hand up, he got butchered by left hooks

    Brutal stuff indeed

    benn eubank 1 was brutal,eubank took punishment in the 1st 4 or 5 rounds that no man should of withstood,it proper wiped benn out.

    my respect for eubank trebled that night
