The last Robinson vs. Lamotta fight. It wasn't nicknamed the St. Valentine's Massacre for nothing. Lamotta took a hellacious beating in that last round. The 13th, I think.
this is the fight i was thinking as soon as i open the thread.. it took awhile before anybody mention it :hat

good calls thinking about it the modern day mercer morrison was klitscho vs brewster If you haven't seen it wlad actually used to be a really offensive fighter and was brutalizing brewster till he turned it around much in the same way as mercer morrison, another one is robinson vs basillio fights one round ray takes about 50 consecutive punches and carmens eye was like a melon
Watched Benn Mclellan live on tv whilst off my face and it remains the most brutal fight ive seen.Hard, hard punchers.
Two punchers that had some of the most elite punching power of the generation....... Of course it ended with life altering injuries.
Two extremely hard men. I'll never forget that night. I was pretty much on the ceiling. I was and am a huge Benn fan and it was an unbelievable high when he won. Quickly followed by a huge low when you realised Gerald was in serious ****. Michael Watson was still very fresh in the mind.
