What is the most exciting fantasy fight for Joe Louis ?

Liston doesn't have the mental fortitude for that fight.

 

Even as a kid I always felt this fight would be unbelievable.

 

If Louis pounces Frazier like he did Baer, he might make really quick work of it. Stylistically, Frazier had a better style for beating Ali, but based on every other criteria, Louis was the better Heavyweight.

 

I think Bowe and it out does the Holy trilogy.

 

Personally, Louis vs Holyfield. Reason being Holyfield didn't know how to yield.
If Louis nailed him with something big Holyfield's DNA would take over and he would immediately try to retaliate.
Holyfield said he'd beat Louis. He probably had the physicality and skills to do it.
But could he resist the temptation to get into a fire fight with the greatest offensive heavyweight in history.
Louis's precision, speed, timing , and power would be unlike anything Holyfield has ever seen.
Would his ego get in the way , get him K'oed?

 

Michael Dokes vs Joe Louis would be a good one.

 

I still wish we could have seen a healthy, motivated, fully matured Conn rematch Louis. But Flash24 has convinced me Louis-Holyfield is the perfect fight.
