Archie Moore was 39y/o... the fact he faught Marciano, and went on to battle Floyd Patterson for the Vacant title is clear indication of the pitiful state of the H/W division in the early 50s.

Fine, 49-0 (43) is impressive..... there are those who believe the Rock would walk into any H/W era.. personally, I do not.

 

Ya rock was there to be hit, so in that context, id have tosay hed do well anytime in boxing before the mid-late sixties. Foreman wouldve busted him bad in early rounds. I would give him great chance vs frazier tho.

 

Well it is when you try and show you have a lot of boxing knowledge by talking about Marciano and his unbeaten run and saying that Hatton will have a great unbeaten run once his career has finished, however you believe that once Hatton beats Pac-man (unlikely) he would go after timothy bradley???

I mean that is obviously the biggest fight out there for hatton once he has taken care of the p4p number 1 atsch

 

I see your point, i was thinking that after he beats pacman, he may want to take care of a high ranked fighter @140 then maybe shoot up to ww again and take on someone there like cotto or floyd again.

I have faith in my fighter that under floyds tuteledge he can make a great run, thats all
