Remember, DLH was the favorite, Duran was not against Hearns because he was so much smaller. Hearns < ATG

 

Tommy was not ready to go at the end of round one, and not even at the end of round 2.. Watch it again and notice how arm weary Hagler is. He can barely lift his arms up and by the beginning of round 3 he looks slow and the only reason he stopped Tommy was because Tommy was exhausted more and Marvin landed a good right hand and then a follow up. Lopsided that was not. Hagler was exhausted. Who ever said that was lopsided does not like Hearns because that was a competitive war.

 

what are you talking about ? Duran was champion at 154 when he fought Hearns and Hearns was only a 2-1 favorite because he outboxed Benitez at the same weight and was a great boxer. The magazines predicted Hearns would win a UD. No one at the time said Duran was little, that has only come up recently with revisionism. Both guys were solid and champs at 154 then.
