Is it really £100k?! That seems like such a tiny figure in todays world. At the top level, too. Is it true or has he made more than that? I would say a minumum of £250k. By the way, keep this thread clear of any Hatton talk, please. I'm sick of threads getting derailed by fanboys/haters :good
Scurlaruntings has been ordered to pay Witter an undisclosed amount for repeated breaches of his restraining order.
It is rumoured that he was paid a six figure sum for the Harris fight, probably matched by the Bradley fight - so whilst he is unable to wipe his arse on £20 notes, he will be a damn sight better off than most of us on here.
I wonder who earnt more? Eubank, Benn, or Hatton, or Bruno? I don't think Benn is involved in this one.
He's earned enough to make himself comfortable i'm sure. He may not have 10 cars and a mansion, but at least he can look at himself in the mirror, and know he's not conned a load of people, and has done things the honest way. Once you have enough for a decent lifestyle, why does anyone need more than that?
Who earned the most? Taking into account inflation, I would say Eubank. His world tour fights on Sky during the 90's were for a million pounds a pop I think, and he had a few. Remember in those days a million pounds was a lot of money. Although I agree, Hatton may have earned more already. Probaby Hatton next, then Benn, then Bruno. Hatton will probably overtake him over the next few fights. How much were the WBU fights earning Hatton at the MEN? £150-£250k a fight? Maybe £500k I would hazard a guess that Lennox Lewis and Hamed exceed them all. Sad really, it's all about money. Witter was never destined for a huge fight or purse. Superfights are where the really money is. :good
