Between 1983 - 2007 to be undisputed you must have held the WBC, WBA, IBF belts, since 2007 the WBO has been included. Prior to 1983 I am not entirely sure.

By prestigious we mean high profile, as Josh Taylor vs Caterall was considered an undisputed bout but maybe it wasn't the greatest of them all...

Also I think if Fury fights the winner of AJ/Usyk or if Beterbiev fights Bivol, they would be the greatest, most prestigious, Undisputed fights of all time... as there isn't many great undisputed match ups throughout history that I have come across, perhaps someone knows better.

If you mean 'high profile' - which is what you defined prestigious to be - undefeated alphabet champ Mike Tyson, versus undefeated Lineal champ, former Undisputed LH champ & Olympic gold medalist Michael Spinks was the highest profile fight I've seen in my time as a boxing fan. Massive hype for a fight that turned out to be a fizzer. Plenty of early Mike Tyson kayos weren't 'fizzers' btw, but that was. Especially after the build up. It was one of only two times in history that undefeated, universally recognised heavyweight champions of the world faced each other. The other being the original Ali-Frazier which lived up to the hype. People who were around for that one say it was the most heavily hyped of them all.

    Remember Oscar vs Bhop?
I feel like that fight was hyped up to be the hagler vs Leonard of that era and its totally forgotten.
They even robbed Sturm to make it happen.

I remember Hopkins v Oscar & didn't think there was much of a buzz. Oscar was past it (as evidenced by the Sturm fight), wasn't a fully-fledged Middleweight & wasn't expected to win. He didn't. If you're looking for a big fight with a big buzz at Middleweight, try Hagler v Leonard. Probably the second biggest buzz for any fight in my time as a boxing fan. Til this day (sorry Deontay), people want to argue who won.

True, I guess bhop was not charismatic enough to get it hyped up.

    And Hagler won!

Klitschko brother vs another Klitschko brother, one of many important fights for the undisputed champion.
I do not claim that this fight is the most prestigious.

September 2004 is the tangible point in time that the WBO should be considered a major world title for undisputed.

For me the answer is Tyson-Spinks.

WBO wasn’t recognized as a real title until 2007 so that’s the real point

I think there's many great examples but I think one well known example would be Leonard vs Hearns. Great fight from 2 great welterweights.
