Because this happens all the time. You think he weighed 170 lbs that night? You think Floyd Mayweather has ever weighed 170 lbs for even 1 second in his life?

There's a reason FMJ never reveals his fight night weight!!!...He is/was always and should always be at the positive side of a fight by hook or by crook...! If the playing field is always fair then such a small matter should always have been clear as glass...

I just want to get this straight. You think Floyd has weighed more than his opponents in all of his fights?

Not necessarily, but this topic has come down to the point that he fought fighters coming from weights way far from whence he came...

I can't tell you 'why' it was never posted. That was up to Floyd and his team I suppose. But it's not rare for a fighter to not give his fight night weight. It's each fighter's choice to weigh in again on fight night, there is no rule that says if one fighter does then the other has to as well.

But do you think he actually weighed 170 pounds? Can you give me your estimation of what he weighed on fight night and I'll give you mine?

The 170 lbs. you're insinuating is moot and academic...lots of press and media would've been happy to report his actual weight that particular fight night yet weren't able... a mere pound or two overweight would have sufficed to quell fans curiosity but it did not happen hence, this ongoing controversy...

Yep, totally see what you're saying. I just don't think the man was anywhere near 170 lbs and for this boxing_master guy to claim it is silly. Floyd certainly didn't cover himself in glory that day.

Haha, I like to think I don't obsess over any boxer. I try my very best to stay objective. The closest I'll ever come to putting the blinders on is with Hearns.
