Answer to this question has to be 135lbs (He could have dominated lightweight for years) What is the most This content is protected version of Manny Pacquiao? (Next Question) Answer: 2009 Version.
its the 122lb version. The guy who was undefeated in 10 fights with all wins coming by knockout. The guy who fought very good and underrated competition and walked through them. And the guy who moved up in weight to destroy Barrera when he could still have made the 122lb limit easy. Now Pacquiao has rounded out his skills and ring generalship amazingly to cope with bigger and stronger opponents, but when he was at 122 he was such an amazing dynamo that he didn't even need that. These days Pacquiao is quite big even for a lightweight but when he first fought Barrera, Marquez, and Morales he was the much smaller man. Can you imagine a guy who is essentially a super bantamweight fighting ATG featherweights like Barrera and Marquez right off the bat? And the results speak for themselves: a destruction of Barrera and a controversial draw against one of the best most underrated featherweights of all time, in the heart of his prime. Imagine if the 3 knockdown rule was in effect, what a small rule change like that would have done for Pac's legacy. I'm happy it wasn't because Marquez deserves the accolades he is getting today, but just imagine how crazy that would have been. :respect
