8 weeks seems the number for most.

8 - 12 weeks dependant on the intensity of the person.

It should be what they do in that time which matters most.

Do you think someone like Chris Arreola does much road work??

No thats why i was wondering how good canb you really become in few months, lets say in the old days wen they fought 5/6 times a year does that mean they basically had trainingscamp all through the year except for the few months off. and how much does being fit all year gives you a edge on fighters who baloon up after fights and get fit quik in 2 months like hatton did.

Everyones different, some people need more time than others.. but really, guys like B-Hop and Floyd are fit all year around, meanwhile guys like Hatton goes out on binges.

The heavier guys with more body fat train harder in camp because they have to lose so much weight.

It depends on a number of factors. Anywhere from 6-12 weeks can be considered "normal."
