What is the oddest or weirdest thing,you seen in a boxing fight?

Cintron comes to mind but I'm sure its not the worst.

Recently the Cotto-Foreman Fiasco, Ian Nappa quitting because 'its too hot', Cintron deciding to do a crowd surf only to find he has no fans left to lift him around. and a selection of CRAZY scorecards from the judges domestically in the UK.

Overall, although I was either not born or too young to watch some of these, the Golota-Bowe riot at madison square garden, the fan man incident and Tyson having a munch on Holyfields ear obviously, and the Holyfield-Lewis ROBBERY.

Why is poor old bowe in all these crazy fights, I swear he got kicked in a fight too.

 

Maybe not too original, but...
Tyson chewing off a piece of Holyfield's ear. I remember being genuinely shocked.

 

Here are a few;

-After the second Bowe/Golota fight, one of Bowe's conermen running across the ring and hitting Golota in the face witha foriegn object; setting off a full scale riot.

-Mike Tyson biting a piece of Holyfield's ear off

-Oliver McCall having a nervous breakdown and crying against Lewis

There should be a separate thread to cover Cintron.

 

when that boxer kissed his opponent and then got two points deducted for it. I didn't actually see the fight I just saw the youtube video of it.

There should be a separate thread for Golota too. I remember when he was just a prospect and he bit a chunk of flesh out of Sampson Poua's shoulder. And that was about 2 years before the Tyson thing. And they didn't DQ him.

 

Seeing a boxer have only two points taken away from him after biting another man's ear was ****ing surreal...Thats some gladiator ****

The funniest thing I've ever seen at a live match was Eric Kirkland looking at and talking to his fist before hitting Derek Bryant in the face with it. Asking it if it wanted to hit him again. That was classic.

At the time, Bryant was a highly touted heavyweight prospect promoted by DiBella. Undefeated with a high KO ratio. Kirkland was no slouch, but wasn't supposed to win, and he dominated.

 

I do not remember the opponents name, but Zuniga once kissed a guy on the forehead, and then knocked him out.

 

When Naz body slammed Soto, I was laughing so hard I missed the rest of the round because of the tears in my eyes.
