What is the perfect size for a Heavyweight?

    just my 2 cents but i think Ali was a perfect specimen as a heavyweight in his prime around 66/67. Thats as good as it gets for me. Lean, not too muscular, strong legs and big enough that everything is in proportion

    I don't agree with this at all. It's clear to me that some people flat-out have better punch resistance than others do although obviously anticipation plays a part.

    To quote a different idiot, glass jaws exist in boxing.

    I think things have moved on mate. Maybe in the 1960s that would have been the perfect combination of size, speed and coordination but things have moved on size-wise. 6ft 2ins and 205lbs would make you a very small heavyweight these days and it would probably be better to do down to cruiserweight with those stats.
