What is the point of "light sparring" as a consistent training method?

    Explain.

    I agree with other contact sports i.e. rugby where not committing yourself 100% to a tackle can get you into some trouble for example, but how the hell can not punching your opponent full power while sparring be dangerous to yourself in any way? What the hell are you talking about? :patsch

    In any contact Sport, you never go Full on in Practice.

    Lol leave em to it lads, spar hard, spar pissed, sparr without gum shields and head guards otherwise the spar doesnt count and your gay, i wonder how much u guys would learn from catching a train with your face? Surely theres a few boxing related lessons to be learnt from a facial conditioning/character building drill like that? Wot do u guys think? XD

    you dont have to punch 100% to spar at a 100% level... even in a fight u dont throw ur 100% punch evry time... but u need to give it a full go so you can have ur timining on point and defense or else its just a waste of time...
