What is the possibility both Usyk and Joshua lose in August?

The Joshua-Whyte rematch takes place two weeks before Usyk-Dubois.

Whyte seems highly motivated for the Joshua bout and demanded there be no rematch clause so he's not stuck in a holding pattern (like others were) if he pulls the upset. Whereas, Joshua looks like he's just trying to get more work in with his new trainer and seems to be simply checking another fight off his obligation to DAZN.

Meanwhile, Usyk appears a bit disappointed to be fighting Daniel "Joshua Lite" Dubois. I don't think I've seen him this apathetic at any point in his pro career other than the Chazz Witherspoon fight. And Dubois, though he looks like a deer in the headlights ... seems pretty dim upstairs ... and his recent performances don't inspire anyone, the guy can always crack. And Usyk is a decade older.

And, to make it more interesting, I believe Dubois didn't have to sign a rematch clause, either, being a mandatory.

How devastating would it be for both of their careers (Usyk and Joshua) if they somehow lost next month?

Not only are both (Joshua and Usyk) looking ahead to the largest purses in their careers in Saudi once they get over these two speedbumps ... but with no rematch clauses, how far back do both of them fall if they get upset?

If Usyk faulters, not only does he lose all his belts, and his two wins over Joshua (should he lose to Whyte) diminish quite a bit, but who would even fight Usyk if he loses to Dubois and brings no belts to the table?

Usyk fights so infrequently since becoming a heavyweight, a shock upset loss could mean the end of his career, period.

And same with Joshua. A loss to Whyte would mean Whyte won their lone amateur fight and Whyte split their two pro fights. Whyte won't fight Joshua again if he wins. He's said he didn't want a rematch clause so he can go after the Saudi money and fight Wilder (which is a fight he's wanted for years).

I know we're all anticipating the end of this era, but could we see TWO of the major heavyweights fighting for the last time ... NEXT MONTH?

How shocked would you be if both Usyk and Joshua lost?

Or, if you had to pick one to be upset, who is more likely to fall in August - Joshua or Usyk?

Side Note: I remember being a fan in 1978 when the year began with Muhammad Ali as champion, and Ken Norton and Jimmy Young sitting side by side as the rock solid top two contenders.

And within months, Ali lost in a massive upset to Leon Spinks, Young lost in an equally stunning upset to the absolute nobody Ocasio and Norton lost to Holmes.

Things have been so static lately, with the top heavys mostly sitting around, that things can change really fast (and permanently) when you least expect it.

I don’t see it myself. Dubois will get his head boxed off and stopped late.

AJ will probably end it once he lands something big, probably 3-4 rounds. I like the rematch clause mind games whyte is playing but I see him turning up for one last big payday

Think both win AJ might not be the fighter he was but neither is Whyte hopefully he'll a bit more agressive

If, and that's a huge if, this happens and both AJ and Usyk lose, I could easily see Usyk retiring a wealthy man who spends time with his family. Maybe spends more time in Ukraine.

AJ on the other hand doesnt strike me as a family man and would probably milk boxing for as long as he could.

Win or lose, people will be shocked at how well Dubois does against Usyk.

Maybe I've just gotten a bit jaded lately but honestly I hope they do both lose, and Fury

    Usyk, zero.
Joshua, who knows, but Whyte has been terrible recently so he should just throw only uppercuts which seem to be his kryptonite.

Usyk win by wide points decision or late stoppage.

Joshua catches Whyte with an uppercut whilst Whyte is lumbering in with no guard and wins by ko.

To answer your question I’d be very shocked if they both lost.

Out of the two I give Dubios a better chance of causing an upset then Whyte.

Dubios is a heavy puncher and knows he’ll have to be physical against Usyk, I give Dubios a 20% chance.

Whyte has slow feet and his ring IQ is nonexistent, Joshua is physically stronger, a better boxer, harder puncher, better footwork and a longer reach. I also think Joshua has improved significantly since their last fight. I give Whyte a 10% chance of causing an upset.

If they both lose I see Usyk retiring because I think he’ll be unable to draw without his unbeaten record but I can see Joshua continuing and still being able to draw, I even think if he loses to Whyte by a lucky left hook he’ll still fight Wilder and it still selling..

Dubois has next to no chance

whyte has a very small chance if he catches AJ early but highly unlikely

Whyte has no chin and is a sucker for AJ’s money punch. No chance.

Dubois was nearly KO’d by Lerena so no chance for him too.

The possibility is slim for both losing.

Dubois could land something big and, its HW boxing and all that, unless Usyk is starting to slow down, I don't see it happening.

Joshua might be finished at the top level but Whytes not top level. Joshua still beats the Whyte's of the world.

Think if there is a stoppage in Dubois vs Usyk it will be Usyk getting stopped.
