What is the possibility both Usyk and Joshua lose in August?

Anybody who thinks there is a chance of that double coming up should get their money on because the odds for the two results grouped together should be mega enticing. They would certainly want to be anyway.

Going into that one I was extremely confident that Mosley would thoroughly outclass Vernon. I could not have been any more incorrect in terms of how my expectation matched up with reality.

Incidentally, I still wonder why Mosley wasn't targeting 6-Heads Lewis back when they both reigned. As I recall, Lewis was getting a bigger push than Forrest from HBO at that time.

That you made an effort to post that at 4:00am UK time, is quite funny really.

I think Mosley knew Forrest was a tougher challenge. I don't think he had to fight Forrest at that time. He was determined to prove he was the man at 147. Forrest just had his number.

Joshua will crush Whyte and Usyk will batter DuBois.

Agreed. Twice Mosley gave chances to guys (Vernon and Winky) who were high-risk/low-reward propositions, and he gave each an opportunity when Viper and Winky were otherwise stuck on the outside looking in. And then he tried to avenge both losses in an immediate rematch. Admirable moves all around in my mind, but he has generally received more criticism for the losses than credit for wanting to prove himself.

I will forever remain baffled they didn't go after 6-Heads Lewis. HBO was often teasing at this prospect, and I thought (and still believe) it was a very favorable match up for Shane.

I've read p1. Based on age difference I give DD a better chance of upsetting Usyk than DW upsetting AJ.

Even if we give a generous 30% chance of a DD win and 20% chance of a DW win, then there's a 6% chance Usyk and AJ losses.
Since I gave rather high end probabilities for each upset, the likelihood Usyk and AJ losses is well under 5%. Not lightning striking but very much a long shot.
    >>> Another question is which of the two fights will be the most entertaining? Not a clear cut pick to me.

Yeah, I think he would have beat 6 heads.

Same here Rummy, thought Mosley was gonna win, but who's to blame cause Shane was amazing at that point.

Maybe they perceived 6 heads as the more dangerous fight? He was pretty hot for a brief period.

Anyway, as far as these fights go, I will get a rare chance to root for a fighter. I usually just go with "may the best man win", but my man Usyk is gonna dazzle this dude and show him what a true ATG looks like.

But DD is young and it will be a good learning experience, perhaps he'll benefit from it.

Usyk actually said himself "Якщо я програю, є ймовірність, що я кину бокс або продовжу займатися ним з меншим престижем і більшою кількістю розчарованих уболівальників.
Yakshcho ya prohrayu, ye ymovirnistʹ, shcho ya kynu boks abo prodovzhu zaymatysya nym z menshym prestyzhem i bilʹshoyu kilʹkistyu rozcharovanykh ubolivalʹnykiv."

I speak some Ukrainian so I will try to translate this: I have an ability to move. I move very well. This can be applied in other sciences whose parents are become. Today is a field day for one sat. Second. I will be there. When I move past, I can get there, father. Land. You can ask me that if you want to, bean. What can I say? I will box or I will go on tour and say a thing."

Whoa, sorry. Apparently I misread this. This was a quote from Joshua's Twitter page where he was trying to speak to someone in Ukrainian. Is Ukrainian even a language? I thought they spoke Russian? That's why I said I speak a little. If it's not Russian, I probably translated that poorly.

Pretty damn low. These are both filler fights before a bigger match up. Neither Dubois nor Whyte are a risk for their respective opponents. Whats interesting is how AJ and Usyk will perform: AJ is developing a new style under a new trainer and Usyk has a very thin HW resumé, so maybe we see something unexpected.

You’d want at least 100/1 minimum.
