What is the possibility that Anderson Silva is the single best fighter in the world?

I don't mean pound for pound. I mean that he beats Rampage, that he beats Couture or Fedor or any of the other heavies.

What is the possibility that he would be open-weight champion?

No chance in hell. The guy's scrawny and would get eaten for lunch by some of the skilled heavyweights, and I can think of a few 205ers who would probably be much too powerful for him too.

No chance. A monster like Josh Barnett would pick him up and throw him out of the cage.

This is getting a bit out of control. Silva is great, but he certainly wouldn't beat any fighter out there in every weight class.

Honestly after seeing what Shogun and Wanderlei did to Rampage in the Thai clinch id pick Anderson over Rampage and then at Heavyweight hed have to be facing Big Nog cause Fedor and Randy arent fighting in the UFC. Although Nogueria-Silva would probablly never happen considering Silva got his Blackbelt from them Silva winning is possible but very small like 15 percent chance.

Silva seems to be the prototypical perfect fighter for the middleweight division. Like boxers Duran at lightweight or Roy Jones at middleweight, Silva possesses that perfect blend of speed, reflexes, strength and all around great fighting skills that makes him nigh unbeatable. I would love to see how he would fare at higher and lower weights, but he seems perfectly suited for his current division. I enjoy thinking that when I watch an Anderson Silva fight - I am watching MMA history being written live by one of the all time greats at the apex of his career.

:good Exactly, even MMA's got it's delusional nuthugger's too. They sometimes take time out from hugging Mayweather's sack to spend some time on Silva's.:yep
