What is the possibility that Anderson Silva is the single best fighter in the world?

Of course he is at his best now but Fedor has always been at his best and Penn has done amazing things while not at his best.

Silva is special but not P4P or overall can I calsify him as the best.

Not to mention if GSP avenges his loss then he gets thrown right back in the mix.

    Its a fact :yep

Come on, AS is not a big man. He HAS looked great steamrolling the best opposition in the UFC's weakest division; Leben, Lutter, Franklin (now seemingly somewhat overrated and in limbo), and a 37yr old Hendo. Impressive? Yes. Worthy of the acclaim hes received? No. imo a lot of his kudos is in proportion the manner of his wins; he looks brutal in winning. But AS is not even proven as a fighter at all at 205, much less heavy.

Have you ever seen a natural 190lb man next to a natural 250lb man? The difference is basically insurmountable, all others things being anything like equal.

Every fighter loses at some point unless your name is Rickson. Anderson Silva is peaking at this point in his career and looks to take over the #1 P4P spot from Fedor.

He's doing a good job so far. Fedor needs to fight someone who is somebody in MMA soon. I think Fedor needs to fight couture and if he wins. He can retire as the #1 p4p fighter EVER
