You don't get it either. Trying living your life without the word black in front of it. You are not the only one who needs to conquer racism/prejudice in life. But you seem to cry about it the longest. Even African-Americans (those directly from Africa) recent immigrants seems to be getting along better not to mention are also one of the biggest racist towards black Americans.

Second, I highlight the dates for you.

And notice what each generations complained about. You are still complaining about what Ali was complaining about.

Racism is NOT dead. But your mistake is complaining about problems from 2, 3 even 6 generations old.

People are unwilling to fix problem that has since changed (not better or worst, but changed). Learn the differences.

I would love to tell you I am also black, but that just panders and lowers the discussion down. It would be hypocrisy in my part.

If you are going to argue that racism against top black athletes exist, PBF is the WORST example you can make.
PBF is probably the poster child why athletes are hated in general. You can't buy class, morals, good taste or respect. And PBF and some posters here apparently did not get that email.

Or the fact they have been extremely inactive yet continue to come out with incredibly over the top statements. Haye "I am going to rip Wlad's head off". Mayweather "I am greater than Sugar Ray Robinson." Pair of idiots, it's got nothing to do with race. Why do people seem to universally hate Calzaghe? Is it because he is black as well? :rasta

Excuse me fella. Africans aren't getting along better than Americans over here. I know you haven't been paying attention but many parts of west and north africa are under siege due to the Diamond trade via Israel or Dick Cheney's Executive Outcomes Corp which does all the dirt for Halliburton like arm 6 year olds with AR16's to protect oil tankers. And if you know anything about this country you'd know that the racist anti-African American climate is worst now than it's been since I was a kid in the 60's. The difference is that, then people knew it was wrong. Now, they really don't know the difference. Yesterday it was George Wallace. Today it's Sarah Palin! And although Floyd is a terrible example it seems white society does have a penchant for ostricizing extraordinary skill. Barry(roids), Kobe(anal sex with Katelyn Faber), Michael(Gambling NBA Retirement) or Jim Brown(accused of attempted murder). There is no way that the white media can explain their skillsets or mindsets unless they fit the "White Idea of Being". The way they carry themselves, where they go and with whom all have to fit this criteria or there's a problem. Whether you're a criminal or not if you don't come off as Negro Neutral you will be crucified in the media and by the scrubs who follow along.

And by the way. There's no way you can live your life with out your culture being the 1st and foremost issue. If race wasn't an issue I guarantee you know Black folks would ever complain. The fact is it's not an issue to the majority. Everything about being Black in America is ALL ABOUT RACE! When you got a job interview and you're black? It's about race! When you apply for a bank loan? It'about race. When you purchase a home? It's about race! When you follow a fighter? WHEN YOU ARE BLACK IN AMERICA EVERYTHING IS ABOUT RACE BECAUSE NOTHING HERE WAS DESIGNED FOR OUR RACE TO PARTICIPATE IN. BOTTOMLINE! SO THERE'S NO AREA IN LIFE WHERE YOUR BLACK SKIN ISN'T THE 1ST ISSUE IN THE REAL WORLD. THIS IS HOW I KNOW THAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU CRIMSON SPEW THIS SENSELESS GARBAGE AS IF YOU'RE FAMILIAR WITH THE CULTURE AND EXPERIENCE AND YOU ARE NOT!

Nope. I think this is the typical reverse stereotype that people who have no real social skills and no real understanding of the Black american diaspora tend to come about. You think one would perceive of Shane as being an Uncle Tom as you call it (term I haven't used in 30 years) because he has a much different personality than Floyd. So, is there just one way we're all supposed to act or 2 ways? Or maybe there's many varied personalities in Black people. Ya think?

Your analytical skill needs more improvement. Aside from skin color, what else is the similarity between Floyd and Haye? Yes, they are both loud mouth who like to talk ****. Do you really like these kind of people?

Only thing Floyd is doing by deliberately avoiding the only future elite ATG he's come across in his career, is ****ing up his legacy. How can anyone even match him up with the true ATG's of the past, when it's almost safe to say he would never have faced them.

I agree. How could any brotha like that mutha****a? 1st of all he's a true ***** who won't fight nobody. His trainer never fought. He's got good skill but he's a *****! This guy really ticks me off! Floyd talks but is at least one of the greatest defensive fighters ever. David Haye is not. I can't really tell you why I don't like Haye outside of the fact that he's a pompous ass with really mediocre boxing ability!

That I can answer because I'm one of those who hate their attitudes :yep

While these two are skilled fighters . . . they simply cannot "walk the talk". Too much talks but can't grow enough balls to prove what comes out of their mouths. Hyping and trash talking have it's limits.

I don't care what their nationality is or skin color . . . this is boxing.
