Actually, if you talk to a lot of guys in the NFL, they say Brady is a completely stad-offish arrogant *****.....just saying.

Bonds deserved it he was the face of the franchise.

TO is a great talent who only wants to win. He calls people out if he thinks they're not pulling their weight.:deal And stans like you can't take it.

Hopkins and Iverson were both hated are still are to a great extent. Log off.

Have you been in the lounge lately? Have you seen the amount of Anti-black threads that have been posted there in the last month? Do some research and come back it's obvious that ESB has a problem with blacks.:deal And they are criticized far greater than any other race that is without question.

LOL the backlash on Sosa and McGwire?!?! Are we watching the same sport? Those guys have been shunned ever since. WTF!!!! Hahahahaha I'm seriously cracking up. You act like there was no hate towards them or something lmao. If anything, make a case for Shane Mosley. Black, Hall of famer boxer that was proven a drug cheat. People still love him. Thanks, I win there.

The patriots suffering from releasing moss?!?!?! HAHAHAHA OMG you are seriously killing me right now. They went 14-2. Tom Brady's passing stats were up from the previous year. He even set the NFL record for consecutive passes without throwing an interception. OMG HAHAHAHA. So what they lost to the Jets. Jets are a great team. Anything happens in the playoffs you idiot. What does that have anything to do with it.

Michael Jordan wasn't a ****ing idiot, that's why, you ignorant piece of ****. He didn't cry, he didn't say anything that would give him a negative image, and that's why he was LOVED. If he acted like a goon, people would hate him, not because he's black, but because he's a goon.

universally beloved for fiery spirit, come forward determination, relatively poor skill set, and, in the southwest US, cheap labor without complaining. Jones commentary about Canelo was hilarious. "Most mexican fighters bring mediocre speed, mediocre skills, mediocre power. Canelo has real power." I leave my stereotyping to the boxing experts.

    You confuse criticism with "hate".

And no he did not change his image. He was still brash, known to the league as a big time trash talker.

The difference is he was a winner and carried his team. He never had actual distracting off the court on the court issues like other athletes. Unlike Terrel - who cant win ****, Moss - who finally won ****, etc. etc.

America loves winners above all. While winning does not guarantee admiration it will get you closer more than anything - even skin color.

And I love how "white America" supposed to hate PBF. Who do you think buys his PPV? The black minority, and the minority within that minority who follows boxing?

This is like the Obama argument. White people must hate Obama. Yeah because we all know the blacks consisted the majority of his votes....

While racism is alive and well, a lot of **** posted here are just people pulling the race card.

Own up. Face some athletes have image issues. Who cares.

And don't confuse criticism with hate. That is just superficial thinking.

PimpC, I can't deny the blatant racism that I see/experience in society. Hell, even these boards can get obnoxious sometimes. The world is full of racist pieces of ****.

But seriously, trying to play the race card on those athletes, just drop it. Those guys have acted like goons most of their careers. They are hated because of their actions, not the color of their skin or how successful they are.

loved for leaving it all in the ring and bringing the ruckus, tons of barrera/morales/chavez/hoya/marquez fans from the states

Oh and people hate Floyd because he's a cocky, delusional ****. Do you ever see people going after Mosley, Forrest, Bradley, Ray Leonard, Taylor, and many others? cmon now. Obviously some of it is race motivated... It always is to some extent. But it's Mayweather's behavior and personality that people love to hate him for.

People hate on what they don't understand. People who don't understand the hip hop demographic will hate on guys who are examples of that demographic and culture.

    And vise versa

My brother a straight up street dude, has no clue when it comes to anything that has to do with corporate. We get into arguments all the time on issues. As his lack of understanding of the corporate side of things tends to make him hate on them, and have unrealistic viewpoints.
