So just wanna ask you guys what is the process in becoming a boxing coach. are there any requirements or courses that one should take?

Should you just go to a gym and ask to volunteer and learn the art or training?

Join a gym and stay in the gym.

If you're not in the gym all day every day, then you won't make it as a trainer.

Just memorize these two lines, and repeat them indefinitely to your fighter:

    "Drink some water, baby!"

"Throw the double jab! Double jab!"

It helps if you know how to box, but not a rule. There are many who have not gotten in the ring, but turn out to be good trainers. Hanging out and watching fighters and trainers helps. Volunteering to help brings you much experience and if a decent trainer takes you under his wing, you should be set to train others. Watch the basics and it helps to watch video. Most importantly, you have to be a leader which comes with motivation, descipline, understanding your pupil. Good luck if you are planning on seeking to train someday.
