What is the public perception of Amir Khan in the UK?

    I enjoy watching him fight and would consider myself a fan but for Christ's sake, they need to keep him well away from microphones and keyboards. He just doesn't come across well at all and says a lot of stupid things in the heat of the moment.

    I hope and expect him to win tonight but his level of maturity over the years has been poor.His overreaction to frochs comments was silly and using twitter and the press to give Rob McCraken underserved grief over the Commonwealth games selection was out of order.

    I also did not like the "if were white "comment but he has time to grow up and ba a good champion

    I really am not that bothered by Khan as a person. He's alright, not exactly a captivating personality, he seems a naive kid to me parroting what he hears from the likes of Roach and his camp. He's not really matured as a man yet. But there is certainly nothing overly malicious in him, seems a decent kid.

    I think he's going to be fun to watch in fights like this.
