    Thanks for the additions/corrections- we should make this a thread.

    In any event, Lewis-McCall was harldy a starching either, as I clearly remember Lewis wanted to go and Larry Merchant proclaiming: "A champion should be given a rigth to defend his title almost unto the death!"

    I know this is off-topic but does anyone know how many times Bowe fought Lewis in the amateurs? I know they fought in the olympic finals but did they fight previously?

    You could make this a thread.

    The McCall stoppage was touch and go.I don't think Lewis had the survival instincts to make it to the end of the round,but it would have been interesting to see him try.

    The guy has got some serious power and skills, but he shouldn't fight any of the top fighter in their prime he is just too slow now.

    How about all time great Jack dempsey he was ko'ed in 1 by Fireman Jim flynn. I have never seen any footage of the fight but on boxrec it says he was down after 10 seconds and was out for about 20 seconds.

    I am pretty sure this was a multi punch barrage becasue I remember reading in Dempsey's biogrpahy that he was badly bloodied.

    I have a feeling Wlad will retire before that age. I'd be surprised to see him fight past 36.

    When Bowe was away at training camp, his wife would be screwing someone else. It wasn't until Riddick jr was 17 that Bowe discovered the kid wasn't even his own :-(.
