    Only Shadow believes this.
 Yet again more nonsense from Shadow. Canelo was just as timid as GGG in case he caught a monster shot. Canelo was the guy talking all the **** before the fight but fought like a chicken against Grey Grandpa Golovkin. Wow he managed to beat a 40 year old amazing. You truly do live in another dimension. I'm guessing that if Canelo farted in a jar you'd use it as Aramis.

Canelo gave Grandpa Golovkin another 12 round beatdown. That was probably worse for GGG's reputation than if GGG went out on his shield and actually tried to win and risked getting KO'd. GGG was just too risk adverse though to give his fans a Big Drama Show. GGG's fans must be very disappointed after seeing their hero outclassed and out punched like that.

After 100 votes, I will calculate and publish what the voters think:
    - How many fights did Canelo win?
    - How many fights did GGG win?
of course I will calculate the average. So far there are 98 votes.
I'm also interested in that, but I hope it's not just me :)

You’re one of about 1% of boxing fans who don’t think GGG won the first fight

GGG didn't give his fans the fight they expected him to. He disappointed his fans by how he fought, like a scaredycat. This from a guy who criticized Canelo for not fighting aggressive enough after the first fight. As it turned out, it was GGG who turned into the guy fighting scared and not in a fan friendly style. Canelo showed the world that he was the fighter. GGG didn't give the fans the fight they wanted.

Canelo came to fight, GGG didn't.

GGG didn't win the first fight, he didn't win any of the fights with Canelo.

Canelo promised a knockout and that he was ending Golovkin's career. He was the one who was talking big and he did squat all night. He gassed against an old man. Canelo couldn't fight his way out of an old age home

GGG fought to survive, not to win. Canelo gasses because he's loading up on power shots, dishing out punishment, which he did on GGG. Canelo wouldn't have gassed if he stood there doing nothing for 8 rounds like GGG did. You know that GGG is not an easy man to drop let alone stop. At least Canelo tried, you can't knock his intent and his desire to get a stoppage. GGG didn't even try for that. You keep saying GGG is such an old man, but when GGG was asked about being 40, he said he felt good and didn't feel 40. GGG is a very disciplined fighter, he keeps himself in top form, he is very well preserved at 40. 40 is 40, though, but I know deep down you're disappointed in his performance because even at 40, lets face it, he couldn't have done better, he could have given the fans a better fight. He could have taken risks and actually tried to win. The fact is - he didn't. He didn't do the kinds of things that his fans ironically criticized Canelo for not doing in the first fight. So we've come full circle. GGG turned in the kind of performance that he accused Canelo of doing after the first fight. That speaks volumes. That's why GGG had so many fans, because they saw him as the warrior, who gave fans the Big Drama Show. The performance he gave in the 3rd fight, though, was the complete opposite of that. It's OK to say you're disappointed in GGG, we all were. Canelo fought like a true champion, GGG not so much. GGG fought like a DIVA, refusing to fight, refusing to take risks. I'm sorry but that's not commendable especially for a fighter like GGG who's reputation is centered around that.

Canelo fought to survive, not to win. He promised a knockout, to end Golovkin's career. He did none of that. He fought like a mouse, scared of getting put to sleep. At the end we saw an old man beating up a younger man because Canelo has no gas whatsoever in his tank. Only a deranged fanboy like you could celebrate that.

After 100 votes, only 5% agrees with the official score on paper and 91% thinks Golovkin should have won 1 or more of the fights.

Canelo fought to survive? LOL that's a good one. Canelo was dominating your hero for most of the fight. You cling to your late round mini-comeback all you want, Canelo gassed late because he was the only one fighting before that. When you fight, you gas. When you don't, you don't. Simple. GGG came on late and made the late rounds competitive, but at no point was he "beating up" Canelo. You calling finally doing something and being somehwat competitive towards the end "beating up a younger man" that's "Deranged" silly boy.

Canelo did nothing all fight long. He was terrified of getting flatlined. It was a sad sparring session against an old man. Hell, GGG was old the first time they fought too. Canelo's greatness is found in old age homes.

You're obviously still reeling from what happened. You've blocked out what happened haven't you, and replaced your memory with an imaginary scenario of what you wanted to happen, but didn't.

    :eaea:

Sawwie, I know how much pain you must be in after seeing how the trilogy played out. You had such high hopes 5 years ago for what you thought GGG was gonna do to Canelo. But over the 36 rounds, that just never materialized did it. Just admit it, you were completely shocked by how much GGG would struggle with Canelo, with GGG not winning a single fight, with GGG not able to hurt or drop Canelo, with GGG getting beat up each time. Face the facts bro, Canelo surprassed your wildest expectations of how well you thought he could do against GGG. Just admit it, come clean, you'll feel better I promise.
