These explanations " it was behind the ear/not in the chin" are really pissing me off! What the **** are you talking about! It does not matter where the punch landed. If it landed on the head and you go down, then you go DOWN. If Price has a glass ear instead of a glass chin, what difference does it make? You get hit behind the ear all the time. Even more than the chin. If Price cant take a hit there, it means HE CANT TAKE A PUNCH! And the punch that TT threw was a slap. What does this tell us about David Price? You Price fanboys need to face the reality.

While I do think Price does have very poor punch resistance, it was clearly an equilibrium shot

Push your finger into the point just behind your earlobe where your jawline meets your neck

Somehow manage to get a shot there and you are ****ed for a good while. Happened to Khan too

It was a far harder shot that messed Khan up, and he carried on.Name other examples of top fighters getting ko'd by such an innocuous shot, it was ****,end of, and he'll get KO'd next time he steps up too.

    Kirkland against Ishida

and Price more recently being cuffed round the earhole

Regarding Khan, yes - he has a very shaky chin and he's been down from light punchers pre-140 fights. But the presscott knockdown were legit... big heavy puncher caught him cold.... the Ishida-Kirkland fight is a better demonstration of a light puncher knocking down someone with a suspect chin

    Title of the thread:
"What is the single worst display of chin in the last 10 years?"

Not saying Price has a good chin, but you can hardly judge it from that shot. I'd like to see you stand up straight after having your ear drum shattered. When that happens your balance is completely ****ed and it's not surprising he was staggering around unable to stand straight.

One display of a bad chin which nobody has mentioned yet is Adamek against Vitali. He was wobbling all over the place from a flicked jab, the type of punch which is there to maintain distance rather than to hurt. He was on wobbly legs from a nothing punch.

    :rofl:lol::patsch:yep

So when Pacquiao got his busted vs Cotto why didnt he go down

Price is far from the first person to get hit behind the ear or the back of the head

  9. That means, Price would not stand even 30 seconds against Vitali.

He probably will due to his **** chin

Apparently it burst his eardrum, while Khan took a visibly harder shot I'm fairly certain that it didn't happen to him

You don't see it happen a lot because it's incredibly difficult t hit someone there

The guy has a glass jaw, I just think that probably was a dodgy area to get hit

    Does it?

Like I said, Price probably does not have a good chin, but Adamek was wobbled from a complete nothing punch, sorry if I hurt your feelings. Not interested in having a who is better/who is a ****/what country are you from pointless internet argument, but I think even Vitali was surprised by that and carried Adamek for that fight.

He could have put him away at any time.

Did David Price have his ear drum burst against Cammaleri and Stiverne also in the amateurs...he wobbled around the ring there too...........? Hey fanboy, time to face the reality. Im sorry.:hi:

  13. Why do you mention Adamek? This guy is in his end of his career, almost 40 years, Champion in two weight classes, don't fit into the HW and despite won against Arreola or McBride, who both would destroy Price.
I don't see the point to compare a British HW prospect, who's fans made him into a god and even said, the Klitschkos fear to fight him, with a Champion, a blown up light heavyweight who wanted to make the big money against Vitali with knowing, he wouldn't have a chance with his height and punching power.

That's all you ever say,you also said that same shot would have knocked out Ali.
Price does have a bad chin though, the various times he's been stopped with head gear on etc.
Price has shockingly awful punch resistance.
