    Vitalis cut was very bad.
Abrahams jaw was even worse. I still wonder how he could fight 8 rounds with a jaw broken in two places and loosing over a litre blood....

But the worst injury that can happen really is a brain injury.

Since when did he break his hand against Hopkins???? The only fight i remember him breaking his hand was against Ashira.

What's even more amazing is the fact that he won that fight!

Won it well too if i remember rightly in a British title fight? That was the old Danny Williams who had his head in the game though... i think Vitali messed him up somewhat

The fight was in 2000 against Mark Potter and Williams actually dislocated his right shoulder. He not only carried on but dropped and stopped Potter with his left ...great performance :good

He just looks like he's going through the motions now- doesn't look interested in boxing anymore just doing it because people expect him to, IMO. Williams is one odd fighter, though- 5 years ago the likes of John McDermott would not have gone 12 rounds with him, let alone come close to a decision victory!

Good man :good i remember now... didn't he have to have a doctor come into the ring and pop his shoulder back into place between rounds?

I used to like Danny but he is so inconsistent the last couple of years I wished he would just retire. When he came in against Scott Gammar looking slim and athletic and put on a good performance i thought we saw the rebirth of Danny Williams... but no :-(

Na he's done, IMO- he's just waiting for someone to take the Lonsdale belt off of him then he'll probably call it quits. Based on recent performances, that won't be long:-(.

BUT the big problem was that he ruined his career with this fight imho. He never was the same again after that damage.

I think the thread starter means something you can fight on with. At least that was my interpretation of it.
