Page - Witherspoon........Page did very very little in one of his uninspired moods. In his first title shot he was in very average shape and neglected to assert his strengths.

Chandler - Muniz........Chandler more worried about hot-dogging than winning at times.

Lennox Lewis v Tucker and Bruno undid a lot of the excitement he had created vs Ruddock.

Tommy Hearns did the same vs Mark Medel, picking shots rather than going for it and lost some of the momentum of the Shuler blow out. Shame, as he had little to fear from Medel and he had a great first round. It looked like the Hit Man was back with a vengeance. Michael Nunn looked like the second coming of Robinson after Kalambay and then stank the place out vs Iran Barkley.

Domestically, ie UK, Eubank v Dan Sherry, McGuigan v Cabrera, Honeyghan v Blocker were all dips in form in otherwise exciting reigns. Just goes to show you can't be 100% every time out.

Some great calls in this thread. Toney - Tiberi, Jones Jr - Griffin are great shouts.

Witherspoon/Page is that where Page mostly laid on the ropes ? Looking like a beached whale ? Another very uninspiring performance from him. Although he got his revenge on Witherspoon in a fight that didn't mean anything 15 odd years later.
