Tocker Pudwill was a late-notice replacement for another fighter scheduled to fight Joe.

Among fighters who were actually chosen and not late replacements, Peter Manfredo was Calzaghe's weakest title opponent.

Ray Austin was Wlad's IBF mandatory, he had to fight him or lose his title.

Thats a pretty bad list, meaning, pretty good job by you. I would say there are a few that should be forgiven. Cotto for fighting Mayorga being that it was his 1 st defense I believe at the new weight.

Also, the fact that certain defenses are mandatories should be considered less harshly.

Some good examples there, but some were mandatories or not too bad.

    this this this...

..and the fact Keb Baas even beat him shows how bad he was.

5 of his last 10 fighters were for real title belts.

His record over his last 10 fights? 2 wins (1ko), 8 losses (5 by ko), combined record of the two he beat? 12-22-4

    :huh

    :huh

    :-(

Some of the worst defenses by a current ATG: Hopkins vs. James (20-6), Pacquiao vs. Mira (19-7), Calderon vs. Iribe (16-6-5), Wonjongkam vs. Murai (5-1)

Just out of curiosity, who was Joe scheduled to fight? Anybody decent or somebody along his usual lines?

Manfredo-Calzaghe was awful. How the **** did he get ranked at that weight?

Shumenov-Campillo, the man had 8 fights against pretty good competition but nothing that earned him a top 10 ranking by any belt org if they had a shred of dignity. And this could be a runner up to Shumeov's defense against William Joppy. Who hadn't won a meaningful fight in

when he beat Howard Eastman to win the Regular WBA title at Middleweight.

Sturm-Hearns comes to mind. To earn his shot at Felix Sturm, Ronald did the extraordinary thing of getting KO'd by Harry Joe ****ing Yorgey.

Danny Green-Paul Briggs has to be the worst fixed fight ever, looked even more pathetic than when Z-*** paid an illegal immigrant to take a dive

Pongs last title defence was against a 5-1 fight novice, the whole fight only lasted 30 seconds due to a headclash, resulting in a draw.

Branko Sobot? Juan Carlos Gimenez Ferreyra? Rick Thornberry? David Starie? Mario Veit? Will McIntyre? Miguel Angel Jimenez? Mger Mkrtchyan? Kabary Salem? Evans Ashira?

Hard to point out Calzaghe's weakest title opponent.
