What is up with Ring Magazine's rating?

    I'd guess it's because he hasn't really settled or put in a great performance at super bantam yet.

    You don't know how P4P or divisional rankings work then.

    P4P = whole career, emphasis on what you've done lately

    122 = what he has done AT 122

    Basically, Donaire only deserves to be 7-10 @ 122 based on his one performance against Vazquez, who was only around 7-10 when Donaire beat him.

    Thanks for clearing that up. I was just confused as to how someone could be considered the fourth best in the world when they aren't even the best in their division.

    Yeah, the key here is that the flaw is in the Ring ranking Donaire so highly at 122. His P4P ranking is much deserved, but at 122, he should be below Poonsawat and Arce for sure, and cases could be made for all of Ndlovu, Mathebula, Shimoda, and Ramos. All of that is my opinion, of course.

    (I originally thought that you were trying to say one thing but mean another, or take a shot at something, haha...)
