    My top 4 are:

    1. Joe Louis
    2. Muhamad Ali
    3. Jack Johnson
    4. Jim Jeffries

All of these fighters were over 200lbs at their absolute peaks so I can publish this list without being ******ed. To extend the list further I would have to take a leap into ******om.

None yet they are on your list and George Foreman(only has one decent world class 200lb heavy in Frazier. Lost to every decent boxer mover he faced Young, Ali, Morrison, Holyfield. Won World title from an overweight light heavy, moorer. His second best win was over Norton who couldnt handle punchers), Lennox Lewis (KOd in his prime by 2 below world class level fighters, not up to the level of the guys i mentioned), Mike Tyson (Was Kod by the best big men he faced Lewis and Williams and also KOd by non world class McBride. His signature win was against old light heavy spinks), or ect ect ect aren't on your list (I know i probably should have put in Corbett, Walcott, Marciano and others but i was a little worried that they were a bit small)?
You think i should put those guys in?

He was pre prime and he took a dive against a HOF fighter.

Good points, i forgot about Coetzer, Kirkman, Deninis and Peralta, Move Foreman up to number 11 on the strength of these wins.

Who did Shannon Briggs beat to have you rating himover the guys i mentioned?

So if i take out Louis and move Foreman to 10 all should be okay?

Shannon Briggs is an animal, it would be a crime for any credible top 10 to exclude this very, very, large black man. White folk can talk up Dempsey and Marciano all they want...we all know what would happen if they faced a monster like "The Cannon."

Don't ask such considered and logical questions for fear that it sends some back to the land of fantasy and dungeon-masters... unless you want to hear stories of monsters with superhuman powers and magical spells.

It has to be a mix of both legacy, record and head to head unless otherwise stated. First among all factors is accomplishments against contemporaries with a factor of the ability of said contemporaries.
