Thanks for admitting that Wlad has solid resume.

However what you stated about Brewster is completely untrue. He was tested by doctors and it was concluded that he had recovered 100% from his eye injury and was at no greater risk of injuring his eye again than anyone else in boxing. They fought in Germany because it brought in much more money for everyone involved.

Kill the rhetoric man, and the spin. And never mind what the rest of "us haters" claim. The guy presented a factual case. I was looking for you to refute, but you spun instead.

Remember the other day, I wanted to throw Sykes into the Peter list...??? You said it didn't apply. Fair enough. Half of what you said here didn't apply.

You accused dude of randomly selecting names, that alone begs for a retraction. I haven't kept track in the past, but right here it's... Widdow 0, Magoo 1.

You just got handled by this guy, it was like he brought up Sturm or something...

...and VITKLIT was tested by doctors, and he said he was good to go everytime he faced his toughest adversary...the DREADED TRAINING CAMP.

Suge, you are blind. There is no point in discussing anything with you. He said that Wlad has made a career out of feasting off the shells of old fighters. He lists the age of some fighters, and averages them out... and you think that is a more in depth way of looking at things, then actually looking at WHO he fought, and where they were in their careers when Wlad fought them? If so, you are a moron. Of course you would think he "won" the debate with his pathetic attempt... because you clearly have an agenda.

Right, I have a rather fruitless agenda. Gettting posters to be straight up...that, and rehabing KLIT-ites. :smoke

Again I can let you spin, or I can remind you...You said he randomly picked names...he claimed his list to be the last 15 fights in the last 6 years.

Evidently you have no problem with the facts he presented (or "his pathetic attempt," if you prefer) you just want to color it your own shade...rather than leave it black and white.

I'm not going to argue opinion with you or him, you seem to discount his facts because you hold a different opinion...this is against logic.

While he discounts your opinion, because of the facts he presented.

    That is textbook ownage.

I'm not the only poster who thinks you got owned here. ;)

Excellent point, you've obviously followed the sport for years...with the wealth of knowledge displayed in a posts like that...

...and speaking of blind, you think VITKLIT makes it out of camp on the sixth try right...???

About the only reasonably good fighter who was still not great, yet he seemed to give Wlad a fair amount of trouble.

Oh I get the point. After a number of posters counter criticized you for not refuting my analysis, you thought you'd make a half ass attempt at throwing together a list of mediocrities and emphasizing only their positives, but leaving out all of their shortcommings, which vastly outweigh the plusses.

Face it, these guys were ****. And trying to beef them up doesn't strengthen your position at all. I mean really, Ray Austin? Axel Shultz? Jesus christ.

    Magoo,

Wlad has beaten many ring ranked guys, and unlike some other champs, they are pretty in good shape. Wlad has not picked on wahsed up X champions like other guys have. He could have belted Bowe, Holyfield, or Morrer, but picked better.

It is easy to pick apart anyone opponents. I think Wlad has done well. Just imagine if he was in the 1940's or 1950's vs cruiser weight sized guys with those 8oz punchers gloves.

Unfortunately, that's what makes a good resume among recent HWs. Not that the HW is historically some division deep in talent, but it is especially weak nowadays.

I mean seriously, how many other active HWs have better resumes?

Widdow...I love how you critisized the dude for randomly picking names...which he in no way did.

Instead of refuting his points, what do you do...???...randomly pick names...:rofl

He's doing well enough on his own...

:rofl :rofl :rofl Wow, you are a sad, sad man. Now, watch Suge come on and talk about what a great reply this was. Way to prove that he feasted on shells of old fighters!

FWI, Botha was 33, not 34. Just another fact you keep getting wrong. Not that it matters.

Pretty good shape? How many fat ass opponents have we seen him in the ring with? On the flipside, how many guys who looked like Frank Bruno, Mike Weaver or Evander Holyfield has he fought?

Please, he's taken more fights with more 35+ guys than anyone I can think of. And by the way, if the money was on the table, he would have gladly fought Bowe, Moorer or Holyfield.

Both points are true. We can attack anyone's comp, and Wlad is not that bad. But, of all the great champions that have ever lived, I'd say he falls a bit short in terms of comp quality. Of course, its not his fault that the division sucks, but then he couldn't even beat every man on his top list, and during his prime to boot.

Just imagine if he had fought between 1989-1993, with prime versions of Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, Michael Moorer, Razor Ruddock and Lennox Lewis as his peers. Given that there were no 35+ has beens or pretenders in that list, he might have a difficult time acclimating.
