You guys are just ******ed. It's as simple as that. You are so blinded by hate and frustration that you can't think for ****. He made the claim that Wlad has feasted off the shells of old fighters. Nobody in their right mind has ever made such a claim. It's false, and not even close to being accurate. Then, in an effort to "prove" this theory... he picks some guys out.. averages their age... and claims that shows that he feasted off of the shells of old fighters. What kind of screwed up logic is that?

I clearly picked his top wins... which is obviously what a resume is built on... and I not only provided their "age" since you guys are so big on that... but I also clearly illustrated where the fighters stood at that point in their careers. All of Wlad's best wins have come against fighters who were certainly not a shell of their former self. People now like to claim that Byrd was, yet he was ranked #1 by ring mag and the longest standing champ in the division. Doesn't even matter anyways because Wlad had already beat Byrd 5 years earlier as well.

There was NO BASE for his claim, and he sure as hell didn't back it up. If you actually think that Wlad has feasted off the shell of old fighters, then obviously you are a worse poster than I ever gave you credit for.

I clearly stated that they were wins that were important as they stood in that point of his career. Obviously you haven't been following boxing very long, or you would already know. I clearly showed that the big fights in his career were not against fighters who were shells of old fighters. You proved... NOTHING.

To pipe in on this stream of debate which has come up around Wlad's winning resume, I submit that, while I was obviously critical of Vitali's earlier in the thread, Wlad has an excellent set of wins to his credit for a current heavyweight. Byrd, Ibragimov, Peter, McCline, Brock- all of these guys were legitimate top 10 heavyweights who were in at least reasonable shape and at or near their best when Wlad beat them, and for the most part, he absolutely dominated them, too. Wlad's resume of noteworthy wins blows that of any other heavyweight since Lewis out of the water.
