Ducking a fighter for years then decide to fight them losing or putting a horrific performance.

Ducking fighters is more shameful and dishonorable.

Canelo only seems like that because he has a actual history of course if you a guy like Ryan Garcia or jermall charlo who be talking a bunch of crap yet don’t be fighting nobody when you lose it’s a big deal. But when you have a history of taking on tough opponents a loss every now and then doesn’t matter because you have a proven track record. Every great fighter outside of Floyd got a loss didn’t hurt them much unless they were old as hell.

for most of these guys the only reason a loss would hurt is because typically they ain’t fought nobody good or only got one good opponent when you get to talking like you the big dog and ain’t put in work ppl gonna call you a fraud because that’s what you were.

In terms of what? In terms of legacy and fan base I'd have to go with losing.

Ducking is a dick move though but honestly people forget, they don't forget a loss.

Ducking an obvious fight is way worse.

Losing is just part of competing at the highest level.

    Ducking of course.

I'm sure that Spence and Crawford will never be counted among the greats,
even if they both remain undefeated because they have to compete against each other.

Riddick Bowe , one of many examples , would have received a lot more recognition
these days if the fight against Lewis had worked out. It destroyed his status as a great boxer in my opinion.

Ducking destroys a fighter's legacy and will always haunt them worse than losing
but the feeling of having missed something in live.
