Pac was around the corner by the time those ear muffs came off. Whatd you want him to do.....punch air?
Well duh. That's why I picked Pac by UD when this fight was announced, and why I failed to understand why anyone cared about the right or thought it proved anything. Clottey did what he always does and Pac did what he always does. We learned nothing tonight that we didn't know already. Waste of time.
Had nothing to do with him being scared.....pac was nowhere to be found. The only times clottey even hit pac was because pac wanted clottey to open up.
Punch WHILE Pac was punching. Interrupt him. Perhaps even INITIATE the exchanges. But that's not what Clottey does. Which is why so many people called this fight a joke.
His jab was working when he threw it. He, like all of Pac's recent opponents, was intimidated by his hand speed.
:nono No way Pac didnt choose to get his head snapped back, Clottey was landing clean with uppercuts when he opened up, something Manny couldnt avoid. I heard your boy Rodrigo Garcia fought on the undercard and won.
Anyone who fights Pac is like a deer in front of headlights. They freeze. In the words of Steward on Pac-Hoya fight, "He simply don't know what to do"!
i don't think clottey is a coward. he was just trying to fight strategically but was obviously out classed.
You knew the outcome, so how much did you win? You wont be so angry now if you just won tons of money, would you :rofl
Everybody is gonna get hit here and there but still, pac is elusive as hell. People dont know rodrigo but hes pretty much dlh only less robotic. Guys been in the gym since he was 3 and only lost 3 or 4 fights. Ive seen the kid and know he could whup alvarez right now. Alvarez doesnt have rigos skill. Rigo will be a household name and a million doller fighter in 10 more fights.
Nothing is wrong with him, he didn't want to get knocked out. Isn't that pretty obvious? I mean have people never watched this guy before, Clottey I mean? Come on, tonight was no type of surprise, the outcome, the fight, everything about it was predictable yet there is an outrage and shock. Clottey landed some punches but couldn't bother Pacquiao, you think he's gonna go out there and trade and put himself in the firing line? Some fighters go out on their sword like that, some don't, I don't think we should be criticizing Clottey when he realized what the situation was. It was lose by KO or lose by decision, Internet warriors might choose the former but it would be a different story if you were in the ring with Pacquiao but had the ability to defend his shots and determine your fate for the better. The reality was Clottey stepped in for what SHOULD have been Mayweather and did an okay job against a much better fighter.
The odds for a Pac win were awful. Feel free to check my post history to see what I had to say about this fight.
10 more fights:huh He probably has the talent but he better step up his comp if you think he will be making million dollar paydays in 10 fights. Maybe in 20 to 25 more fights. Did he go out for the olympics? If so what happened?
seriously not just your career but your ****ing LIFE is climaxing at this single moment in time and instead of reaching out a seizing it what do you do? you get into a shell for 12 rounds and lose every round.
