just watched the calzhage vs hopkins buildup show on setanta, and bunce is his normall over the top self:happy but they seem to be saying calzhage has the edge after the 1st showdown, how the hell did they work that out:huhmaybe because calzhages dad gave hopkins gave hopkins a walking stick!!!!!!! they were saying the same thing when hatton faught mayweather e.g hatton is winning the press conferences etc and look what happened now they are doing the same again, does any1 really believe these press conferences especially between two great fighters decide anything?

It's all hype I doubt any of them really buy into what they are saying but it is embarrassing. Rawlings is an awful commentator but hearing him jibber on about Calzaghe gaining the upperhand in the mind games just takes the cake.

Infact Rawlings needs to be done away with, he is far too much of a ***** to be associated with boxing.

Hatton making the throat-slitting move to PBF at the weigh-in is definitely a case where the usual journos did a 180 after the event.

I distinctly remember certain quarters seeing it as a good psychological display for Hatton, then immediately scrambling to say it was the point where they knew Hatton was going to lose afterwards.

If Joe loses, expect his mumbling dad waving a walking stick at Hopkins to be seen in less glowing terms.

Probably won't really know until after the fight....

Although they both performed for the cameras a bit at the confrontation they had at the Hatton/Mayweather weigh-in apparently when filming stopped Hopkins is reported to have looked like he was about to go for Calzaghe and the incident took Joe aback.
