because it was long ago i now came up with this one :

Don't you know the story about the ropes in zaire ? don't you know that foreman was suspectible to heat (as was proven in san-juan vs jimmy young as well) ? don't you know that some claim jimmy young was robbed against ali and actually beat him too ?
don't you know ali had many of very close fights with people foreman mopped the floor with ?

Ali was also a very dirty fighter .
Young Ali was quick , but not as durable as the older one whom was not quick.
Young Ali nneded smelling salts vs henry cooper or otherwise he'd been stopped.
Young Ali ate **** from Doug Jones , never beat him and never gave him a rematch.


Vitali would have beaten Ali at his own ugly game and same for Wlad.
The only thing the young Ali shared with the post exile 1 was his very good stamina and bravado.

Don't know if Valuev and McCall are better than Ali but I don't think either one of them would have gone life and death with Doug Jones , Ken Norton or Sir Henry Cooper.
I also don't think Ali had any chance against Lennox Lewis , and I explained already that much of Valuev's lack of serious training is due to his will not to kill.

 

Oh , and despite his being a dirty fighter , I also doubt Alui could have stopped Lewis or Akiwande . Maybe he might have stopped Maskaev or Barrett on his best day .
