I simply have too ask this question, because Donaire's performance was so impressiv, I wonder if some maybe have en at #1  (just kidding). Still with two big wins of world class opponents (darch. & montiel) combined with his winning streak since 2002 makes him my new #2. Also he is just fun too watch. The other guys from the tournemant are gonne have there hands full.

    Mine:

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Nonito Donaire
    3. Sergio Martinez
    4. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    5. Juan Manuel Marquez
    6. Wladimir Klitschko
    7. Juan Manuel Lopez
    8. Miguel Cotto
    9. Vitaly Klitschko
    10. Bernard Hopkins

I belive that you have to earn your way to the top and once your there you have to earn your stay. This means my #1 is often changing.
    1. Nonito Donaire. He is one of the best talents in boxing. He's up there with Mayweather and Pacquiao. He just has not had the chance to showcase it against the best. When he has been in with the best Vic Darchinyan & Fernando Montiel who going in to the fight was the Ring's #7 Pound for Pound. Donaire was #5. He has been at his best. Like I said I'm very fickle about who I rank #1. To keep this spot he is going to have to keep fighting the best.
    2. Sergio Gabriel Martinez. The ex-bike racer has sprinted out of the pack to at one point take the lead (I had him #1 in my last rankings.) He is still among the leaders. With recent wins over Kelly Pavlik and Paul Williams. He faces WBO 154 champion Serhiy Dzinziruk in March Dzinzirk is one of those best guys you never heard of guys. If Martinez can bet him the way he beat Williams he will likely move back to #1.
    3. Floyd Mayweather Jr. By far the best talent in boxing right now. If this list was based on skills/talent/abillity alone. Mayweather would be the easy pick for #1. While Mayweather has beaten (domanted) top ratted competion. These wins are too far apart. Not only has he not fought since May of last year he has no fight in sight at this time. He has leagle issues but beyond that if he is not in the ring soon he is going to fall further down the list.
    4. Manny Pacquiao. The sports second most talented boxer. Like Mayweather if this was just about skills/talent/abillity. Pacquiao would be the clear choice for #2. While he is more active he has been beating Has been's and Never were's. He faces Shane Mosley in May. Mosley has all the tools to beat Pacquiao even at this point in his career. I think most people picking Pacquiao are picking him more due to Mosley's age and last to fights Mayweather and Mora both guys with styles that have always bothered Mosley. Stylisticly Pacquiao dose not fit the discriotion. More so than the talant difrance between the two. (I'm picking Mosley). If Pacquiao beats Mosley. He will jump up this list possibaly to #1.
    5. Juan Manuel Marquez. When he lost to Chris John back in 2006 it certanly looked like he would not be on this list in 2011. Since than he has beaten Marco Antonio Barrera, Joel Casamayor, Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidis. His losses are a close and contervisrel loss to Pacquiao and a Loss to Mayweather. However there is no shame in losing to those guys. To move up this list he needs to move up from 135 to 140.
    6. Timothy Bradley. Bradley is the best in what right now is one of boxing's best weight classes 140. While it may not have been the fight we wanted to see. He is coming off a clear win over Devon Alexander. There is plenty of talent at 140. He has nothing schuled right now and neither dose Marquez.
    7. Wladimir Klitschko. Should heavyweights be on the list? I don't see why not. He might not be exciting HBO has stopped covering his fights & Showtime has not picked them up. I think this is a big mistake on their parts. He keeps winning against solid compition. He fights Dereck Chisora in April next. He is not going to move up even if he scores a KO with the first punch.
    8. Andre Ward. Ward may have ratted higher if the Super 6 had stayed on track. He estlablished himself as one of the sports best with his win over Mikkel Kessler in 2009. After that he has wins over solid but not great oppoents Allan Green and Sakio Bika. He was suoposed to fight Jermain Taylor insted of Green and Andre Dirrell insteed of Bika. At least beeting Dirrell would have done a lot to move him up this list. As part of the Super 6 he faces Arthur Abraham in May and if he wins and I think he will. He will face the winner of Carl Froch/Glen Johnson. In otherwords Ward has a lot of potitional to move up this list.
    9. Bernard Hopkins. Had he beaten Jean Pascal he would rate higher. When I make ratings I go by the official decision even if I don't agree with it. Boxing judging is subjective. So unless I think it is an out right robbery like Whitaker/Chavez. I go by the official result. Anyways Hopkins just keeps preforming at the top level. He has a rematch with Pascal in May. A win won't make him #1 but it will make his place among the best more solid.
    10. Jean Pascal. Pascal is here more by cercimstance than by his skills/talent/abillity. He is here becuse he has an upset victory over Chad Dawson. Who has the Chad Dawson = to if not better than anyone on this list. Hopkins is another boxer who like Dawson on paper should have beaten him. He faces Hopkins in May. A win keeps himon this list. However this time around a draw probbly won't. There are a lot of boxers with more skills/talent/abillity who either have not yet been able to showcase it or are like Dawson coming of upset losses.

You might not agree with me but top 10 lists are subjective. This however is my curent Pound for Pound top 10.
