What period of time do you most identify with in boxing? Maybe it was/is when you are most involved in the sport, maybe it is because of a particular fighter or fighters or maybe it was an era that fascinates you the most.

Late 70's early 80's I'm 54 now and I truly believe the early 80's was when the last great era of boxing ended

I have been interested in boxing since the early 60s, but only in the last few decades have I (thanks to first satellite TV and then YouTube) been able to WATCH the great fighters I grew up reading about. So the last 30 years or so, have been the best for me.

70's all weight categories, just so much talent. I think for most, its the era where you really got into it the most though. I remember my elders at that time saying how their guys were the best, the guys from their era, and the younger guys now saying this era is best.
