What is your fav fight of all time and why?

mine is Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran 1 it was a war and Leonard showed he could brawl and nearly won. A great show of inside fighting in this fight. Also this fight features two of the greats.

That's like trying to pick my favorite sibling.

Corrales vs. Castillo 1 is the only fight permanently saved in my DVR, so that must be it.

    Cotto - Margarito 1

I know there's better fights out there, but at the time I'd only just gotten into sitting up till 4/5AM to watch fights live, (it's different watching when you know the result) and it was a real rollercoster.

For 5 rounds Cotto looked every bit the P4P superstar he was supposed to be, brilliant movement and counter punching aggression. Margarito then came on stonger and stronger showing an ATG chin, the scorecards tightened and Cotto began to retreat, I couldn't pick a winner, Margarito walked through hell, and got the biggest win of his life.

Obviously then the whole handwrap scandal came to air, and made me despise Margarito and think that he doesn't deserve a boxing license, let alone fight million dollar pay days, but the fight itself, to watch live; was special.

As far as action fights go, can't go wrong with the epic battles between the 70's/80's Featherweight Fab 4. Fights don't get more exciting:

    Boza-Edwards/Limon
    Limon/Chacon IV
    Chacon/Boza-Edwards II

    Hearns-Leonard 2

    Or their first fight.

I just love the matchup of styles. 2 very evenly matched boxers showing what's great about the sport.

You may slate me for saying the 2nd as maybe it doesn't mean so much to you lot but I love it (except the robbery)

Neither fighter was robbed in either case.
