What is your favorite Andrew Golota moment?

My favorite is just after Golota gave Bowe a schooling in round 5, the bell rings. Golota starts walking back to his corner, but Bowe, who is noticably pissed off and frustrated, follows Golota back to his corner and pushes Golota from the backside. Golota simply turns around and blows Bowe a kiss. :smooch

 

Haha, funny how memory can work in a way that makes more sense to us. That's why eyewitness testimony is usually inaccurate.

 

Golota is a crazy MOFO. His facial expressions are priceless.

A few months ago there was a big thread that was devoted to wacky Golota facial expressions and stories. It was hilarious.

 

Yeah I have to second the Corey T Red Sanders fight...its an insane fight and if i am not mistaken that fight has since left sanders blind in the eye that golota punished that night

 

Yeah, he ****ed up his retina Brewster style. But I think the injury healed after that since T-Rex was still fighting people that same year. Full marks to him for absorbing all those bombs, that was an unreal chin-fest as well as a blood-fest.

 

I saw a fairly recent pic of T-Rex back when he "fought" Tyson during those 3 rounder exhibition matches and that eye looked totally jacked. He now has one of those scary lookin' faces where one eye looks straight and the other is looking catycorner. I would imagine he's been fighting against his doctors orders.

 

My favorite Golata moment was when I met him. While visiting the men's room at a Chicago restaurant who walks up to the urinal next to me but The Foul Pole. We were both a bit lit up so I say to him "did your mum never teach you to bite?" First he looks straight ahead and then he says "I prefer the taste of human to pork" and roars out in laughter. He then reaches over to shake my hand while we are still in the middle of doing our business. What was I to do? So I shook his hand. Then I washed it.

 

I really enjoyed seeing Golota maintain his composure with a severly swollen eye and go on to beat MOllo.

Not to derail this thread's intended let's all slam Golota purpose, but its good to see Golota do well, and overcoming adversity.

 

That fight was far more entertaining than the headliner.

Golota's eye was completely shut, Mollo was hanging on for dear life. Earlier on, they were both landing bombs.

 

My favorite Golota moment was during his fight in China agaisnt Marcus Rhode. Rhode went in for a clinch, and his head landed under Golota's arm. During the clinch, Golota bopped Rhode in the head with a behind-the-back punch.

 

ahaha damn i forgot about that one.

I ignored the Heartbreaker for soo long.I need D/L his fights and compile all of his goofy moments.

 

Wow. Just watched clips of the shenanigans in both the Bowe fights on youtube.

Thats the funniest thing ive ever seen in a fight. Was Golota out of his ****ing mind?

Man, i imagine watching it live, when he did it in the second fight, was probably one of the funniest moments of peoples lives.

 

Mollo's first round bombs were bouncing off Andrew like bullets bouncing of a tank. It was kind of funny.
